and it is America's independence day, HOORAY! my family's not really doing anything special. probably not even going to see the fire works, but whatever. we're all kind of lazy. but we'll put the flag out at least.

other than America celebrating its freedom, it is also Gackt's birthday! though no one really knows how old he is, so it kind of makes the day a little pointless. oh well.


in other news, i just watched "Repo the Genetic Rock Opera", and i loved it. it was SUPER gory, but that's kind of what made the movie. it was by the director of SAW so what do you expect? i've never watched saw, cuz it always looked dumb to me, but this is actually a good movie if you can stand the guts flying everywhere.

and it's a musical!! with SARAH friggin BRIGHTMAN. so of course i loved it.

and i also found out that YOSHIKI, our beloved god of everything jrock, was the executive producer of the film. go figure. it's very yoshiki-esque.
